Buffalo Council Approves Re-Survey for Water Line

Buffalo Council Approves Re-Survey for Water Line

Buffalo's City Council, at their last meeting, approved a change order for the water transmission line project from the water treatment plant into town along Highway 16 West. City Attorney Ben Kirven has been working with landowners along the proposed route to secure easement agreements and he asked the council to approve the change order due to a realignment survey to accommodate a landowner's request to relocate the proposed line across her property.

Kirven explained to the council where the easement agreements now stand.

The re-survey will give Kirven a new survey description for the easement agreements and will require a change order with States West Engineering to get done. The survey will be in addition to the work they have already completed, according to City Works Director Les Hook. The council approved the change order for the re-survey.
