Buffalo Council Approves Purchase of KBJ Building

Buffalo Council Approves Purchase of KBJ Building

During their Tuesday meeting the Buffalo City Council approved the purchase of the building at 18 Plains Drive for up to $215,000.

The building is currently owned by the Kaycee/Buffalo/Johnson County Economic Development Joint Powers Board and has been used as a business incubator for a number of years.

The KBJ Joint Powers Board recently decided to sell the building, and the city began looking at the possibility of buying it to solve a need for one city department, according to discussion by the council.

A Public Hearing was held by the council, but no comment was offered before they unanimously voted to approve the purchase of the building.
