Buffalo Council Approves Mayor's Appointments

The Buffalo City Council has approved the recommendations from Mayor Mike Johnson for two positions on the Kaycee/Buffalo/Johnson County Economic Development Joint Powers Board.

Mayor Johnson had recommended Zac Smith to a two-year term on the board, and Shann Edwards to a one-year term on the board.

The council approved the two candidates with no discussion.

The mayor also made a proclamation designating August 4th as Disabled American Veterans Day in Buffalo, and urged community members to purchase forget-me-nots that day to help raise funds for disabled veterans programs.
