Buffalo's City Council has approved a resolution authorizing a grant application to the State Lands and Investments Board (SLIB) for the city to pay for replacing a sewer lift station.

The grant will be submitted to the SLIB's Federal Mineral Royalty Capital Construction Account for just over $466,000.

Mayor Mike Johnson explained at the meeting that the city may not use the grant money, but the city is facing an application deadline for the grant and will submit it with the intent of replacing the sewer lift station on the sewer line near the Deer Park Campground.

Mayor Johnson gave the cost breakdown on the individual components of the project.

The council approved Resolution No. 1409 unanimously.
