Buffalo Council Approves Funds For Lights At YMCA

The Buffalo City Council, at their Tuesday meeting, approved funds for the replacement of some light fixtures and bulbs at the city-owned Johnson County Family YMCA building.

Director Mike Quast approached the council last month for approval to replace 12 lights in the gymnasium and all of the lamps in the pool area, and the council asked him to have bids done on the project and bring them back to the council for consideration.

He explains the project further.

Aspen Light and Electric, LLC of Buffalo submitted a bid of $11,450 for the project, which was approved by the council.

Money for the project will come from the city's Building Maintenance Fund.
