At their meeting Tuesday the Buffalo City Council approved Resolution No.1356, allowing them to claim the eight mills allowed them in garnering their share of property taxes collected in the county.

City Clerk Julie Silbernagel said the Resolution is a “housekeeping item” they do every year to collect their 8 mills.

Councilman Dave Long asked for more information on the mills, and Mayor Randy Dyess explained further.

The city's share of property taxes collected on the recent $1.4 Billion county assessment was $375,000 according to City Clerk Julie Silbernagel.
