Buffalo Council Adopts Ordinances Amending City Code

Buffalo City Council
Buffalo City Council

At their meeting last week, Buffalo's City Council introduced and approved on first reading two ordinances that will effectively re-write sections of City Code, modernizing wording and eliminating some outdated laws and adding some newer ones in the code book.

Buffalo City Attorney Ben Kirven gave a brief overview of Ordinance No. 1352.

Ordinance No. 1353 will add a number of new statutes to the city code, according to Kirven.

Both ordinances were approved on first reading, but will have to pass two more readings before being adopted.
The next City Council meeting will be Tuesday, December 6th at 5 pm at Buffalo's City Hall.
