Buffalo Council Accepts Bid for Garbage Truck

The City of Buffalo will be getting a new garbage truck next year, after the city council approved and accepted a bid for just under $170,000.

City Works Director Les Hook said the city received four bids ranging from a high of roughly $198,000 down to the low bid of about $170,000.

He said the low bid came in two separate bids.

The rear-load garbage truck will take about ten months to build, and is expected to be delivered to the city in May of 2020.
