Buffalo City Council Updated On Various Projects

Buffalo Public Works Director Les Hook and City/County Engineer Wayne Hill updated the city council on various projects at the last council meeting.

Hook said Western Municipal Construction has completed their water line portion at the new Cloud Peak School project, and the other water line west of town is also nearing completion.

Hook also said he will be attending a class in Casper this week for a certification that must be renewed every three years.

Hill reported that the water ans sewer mains to the new Cloud Peak School are complete and the contractor will blade the road for drainage and install curb and gutter and pave in the spring.

The Sports Fields Complex has the last of the concrete pads around the concessions area poured, and light pole bases and fencing are being installed. The baseball fields have been seeded and mulched and topsoil has been secured for the soccer fields, he said, and there is still hope they can get those fields mulched and seeded yet this fall but weather will be the deciding factor.
