Buffalo City Council to Introduce Animal Control Officer

The Buffalo City Council is scheduled to introduce the City's new animal control officer at their regular meeting Tuesday, November 2nd. Todd Morrison was hired earlier this year, and his official title will be Animal Control/Special Municipal Officer for the City of Buffalo.

Also scheduled at their meeting, the City will consider a request by Hot Iron, Inc. to waive liquidated damages the City assessed earlier this fall on the Tisdale/Lobban Streets project, where the company went over their allocated timetable for completion.

The Council will also introduce Ordinance No. 1345 for first reading, an Ordinance dealing with the purchase, sale, and possession of the substance known as “Spice,” generally described as artificial or chemical marijuana.

And Steve Grimshaw of Grimshaw Apartments will also request a waiver on the street cut moratorium in the Shiloh Subdivision.

The Buffalo City Council meeting will begin at 4pm at City Hall.

In other City of Buffalo business, the Predator Control Management Board meeting will be November 3rd at the Johnson County Fire Hall starting at 5 pm.

The Buffalo Development Association will hold a public meeting to discuss the future of the downtown carousel project at 5 pm at Buffalo City Hall.
