Buffalo City Council Gets Project Updates

Buffalo City Council Gets Project Updates

The Buffalo City Council received updates on a number of City projects from City Works Director Les Hook at their last Council meeting.

Updates were given on the new tennis courts that will be built in Washington Park. Hook explains where the project stands.

The bid opening will be Thursday at 1 pm at City Hall.
Also updated was the City's treated water transmission line project, which will replace two smaller water lines with a single, larger capacity line.

The line will run from the water treatment plant west of Buffalo down Highway 16 and tie into another existing line near Pamida. Easements must be acquired on State lands and some private lands in the Bald Mountain Trailer Park area. Hook explains further.

Easements will be attained and construction is expected to begin later this year.
