Buffalo Chamber/BDA Candidate Forum This Afternoon

The Buffalo Chamber of Commerce and the Buffalo Downtown Association are teaming up this year to bring the candidates for local and State offices to the public for an opportunity to meet them.

The Candidate Forum will be conducted during the weekly Farmer's Market this afternoon from 4 to 6pm in the City Parking Lot at the corner of Fort asnd Main Streets.

Angela Jarvis, with the Buffalo Chamber of Commerce, tells us more about the candidate forum.

Candidates expected at the forum include Scott Madsen and Bill Hawley for Buffalo City Council; Charles Bidonde, John Lueders, Russ Humphrey and Smokey Wildeman for County Commission; and John Schiffer for state senate.

Also running for office but unable to attend are Logan Nimick for city council; Jim Hicks for county commission; and Bob Johnson for state senate, who have prepared statements for the forum.

Oldies 105-9 will be moderating the proceedings.
