Wednesday's Buffalo Chamber Of Commerce Luncheon featured Susan Rezanina of Casper-based Wyoming office of the Small Business Administration.

The main purpose of the SBA, she said, is helping small businesses secure loans for startup or to expand their existing business. Although the SBA has no money of their own to loan, they do work with lending institutions, especially in small towns, to guarantee those loans for businees starts or expansion.

Other services offered by the SBA incude: training and counseling,
access to capital, government contracting, and disaster assistance.

Angela Jarvis, Director of the Buffalo Chamber of Commerce, said another source for existing small business is the Wyoming Small Business Development Center, or WSBDC.
