Buffalo Approves Grants for Crazy Woman Square Project

Renovation on Buffalo's Crazy Woman Square took another step toward reality Tuesday when Buffalo's City Council approved two grant application requests. The approval came after some heated discussions and a presentation on the Vision Buffalo Committee's new plan for the square by City Planner Zach Montgomery and some of the committee members.

The project is a joint effort between the city, the county and Kaycee, one of eight such projects identified by the three entities they will work together to try to complete. Montgomery requested approval for the grant applications, and councilman Bruce Hepp asked for a presentation on the new plan.

Montgomery explained Resolutions #1324 and #1325 to the council.

After the presentation, Hepp asked that the council be kept updated on these projects and for presentations to be made so the council could stay informed. The council voted in favor of the grant applications.
