Buffalo Approves Amended MOU for NW Pipeline

Buffalo's City Council approved an additional Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between the city and Johnson County on the NW Water Pipeline Project for additional design and easement acquisition costs on the project.

Jim Martin, with WWC Engineering, said the original MOU was drafted so the city and county agreed to match each other for their share of the expenses above and beyond what would be covered by the Wyoming Water Development Commission.

The roughly $60,000 in additional expenses will likely be covered by budgeted but un-allocated money that will be available on the project due to the bid coming in below the engineer's estimate.

The MOU was decided to be put in place in case the $60,000 isn't covered by those funds.
