The Buffalo City Council has approved on first reading two Ordinances dealing with zoning and subdivisions.

Ordinance No. 1350 was not really changed, according to City Planner Zach Montgomery, but wording was changed, cleaned up and redundancies removed from the text.

Ordinance No. 1351 however, was significantly changed and reworded and a number of new regulations were implemented with the Ordinance.

Montgomery briefly explained the changes to the city zoning code, at which time councilman Bruce Hepp suggested the public become familiar with the changes that will be made if the Ordinance is adopted.

For those interested in reading the proposed changes to the code, copies of Ordinance No. 1351 can be sent by e-mail by contacting city planner Zach Montgomery at City Hall at 684-5566.

Both Ordinances will have two more readings, one on September 20th and again October 4th.
