Boy Scout To Work On City Hall Flagpole

A Local Boy Scout will be looking into erecting a new flagpole at City Hall, according City Building Inspector Toby Rhoades, who announced the tentative plan at the last city council meeting.

Buffalo Councilman Russ Humphrey had brought up the fact that City Hall had no where to fly a US flag at a previous council meeting, and since then, one local scout has stepped up with a plan to erect a new
flag pole.

Rhoades also reported that with the recent warm weather, snow has been melting an revealing trash, garbage and refuse that has been buried in the snow all winter. He has been getting calls from citizens and from public works workers and he has been writing letters informing residents of their responsibility to comply with the city's garbage ordinance
