Blizzard Warning In Effect Until Noon Thursday

The National Weather Service has issued a Blizzard Warning that went into effect Wednesday morning and will last through Thursday at noon. NWS Billings Office Meteorologist Brian Tesar explains more.

Tesar continued on to say that the main element of this storm will be high winds.

Around 6 inches of new snow is expected to fall during this blizzard with up to 9 or 10 inches in the higher foothills and some areas around Clearmont, according to Tesar. The calm after the storm will come Thursday afternoon as it is currently looking like it will be mostly sunny.
