Bighorn National Forest Hiring for Summer Positions

Forest managers for the Bighorn National Forest are looking to fill temporary, seasonal positions in a variety of specialized areas that include, archeology, range management, recreation, engineering, wildlife, botany, hydrology, fisheries, administration and fire.

Positions will be filled at the Supervisor’s Office in Sheridan, the Powder River Ranger District in Buffalo, the Tongue Ranger District in Sheridan, and the Medicine Wheel/Paintrock Ranger District in Lovell and Greybull. Forest Supervisor Bill Bass said that the jobs pay $12 and up per hour, depending on the position. Click here for a list of the jobs available, as well as how to apply for them.
