Sheridan County Resident Rosie Berger, who served as a member of the Wyoming Legislature for 14 years, has announced that she will not be running for the Senate District 21 seat. Current District 21 Incumbent Bruce Burns, recently stated that he will not run for another term. Berger said that her family has been overwhelmed by the outpouring of support that they have received encouraging her to run for the Senate, however, after thoughtful consideration and prayers, she has decided not to run. Berger said that she looks forward to continuing her work on the ENDOW Executive Council, the Wyoming Judicial Nominating Committee, the Wyoming Women’s Foundation, and with numerous other local organizations.

In 2016, Berger was the incumbent Representative in House District 51 when she lost her bid for re-election to current incumbent Bo Biteman. Biteman has announced that he will not run for re-election in House District 51, as he will instead be running for the Senate District 21 seat. No others have announced their intent to run for either seat.
