Beating Victim Stable At Denver Hospital

A man who was beaten badly last Saturday morning is expected to eventually make a full recovery. 24-year-old Neil Switzer was flown to Billings and then to a Denver hospital due to the seriousness of his injuries. Switzer will still have to have facial surgery to repair as much of the damage as possible.

Switzer and 24-year-old Christopher Stotts were both beaten during a fight around 3:30 Saturday morning at the corner of 3rd and Gould Streets in Sheridan. Stotts was arrested just last week on a DUI charge in Sheridan. He was also taken to the hospital from the scene Saturday morning, was treated and released.

Two Billings, Montana men remain in custody after Yellowstone County authorities arrested them based on witnesses’ descriptions of the assailants. 25-year-old Leo Pinnick and 18-year-old Walker Takes Horse were arrested for aggravated battery, but the pair has not been formally charged in Sheridan County yet.

too much

Jaxxx There is just too much violence happening with young people these days. Four lives messed up in this event.

It's just really sad that something like this seems to happen every year during rodeo week.
