There’s nothing like a holiday bazaar to mark the upcoming Christmas season and Sheridan Media’s Judy Hagerott brings us this story.

The Christmas bazaars were in full swing last weekend as people scampered to and fro across town to shop for Christmas presents, get new ideas for their own holiday crafts, and greet friends and neighbors along the way.

St. Peter’s was full to capacity as their church ladies had their wares on display. Linda Ernst said it’s all about giving.

Co-chair Kathy McNickle said it takes a team effort.

Just across the street the Methodist church had their own bazaar. Another fundraiser, monies raised go to local and global missions. Margaret Prout listed what was on hand.

Up to the fairgrounds where the Sheridan Swim Team was holding their largest fundraiser. Team member Jaylynn Morgan said it’s more than just fundraising.

The Woodland Park School gym was filled with shoppers and vendors alike and this fundraising effort went to the school’s PTO, according to organizer Mary Jolovich.

Family, fun, and fundraising, are all part of the Christmas bazaar season.
