Battery Citations Lead to Administrative Leave for RMA Employees

Two employees of Rocky Mountain Ambulance have been put on administrative leave until further notice after being cited for Battery Monday. Alex Carmody and Brand Stewart were cited for allegedly injuring a 75-year-old Sheridan County man in mid July. RMA, along with Dayton Fire-Rescue and the Sheridan County Sheriff's Office were dispatched to a residence on Smith Creek Road in Sheridan County, where the man was the subject of the call. His identity has not been released at this time, nor has any further details about the incident that led to the citations.

Both Stewart and Carmody will appear in Sheridan County Circuit Court Thursday, August 9th. The charge of Battery is a misdemeanor that is punishable by up to six months in jail, a $750 fine, or any combination of both.
