Next Tuesday, the Banff Mountain Film Festival will take place at the Sheridan WYO Theater. The festival will include a collection of films which explore the mountain world, highlight new landscapes and remote cultures, and expose audiences to exciting adventures and adrenaline-packed sports.

With over two hours of film, the show will include Sacred Strides, the story of a group of Native American tribes who put their differences aside and came together to send a message of unity. The next film is titled The Passage, and tells the tale of the first people in modern history to canoe from Washington to Alaska up the Inside Passage. Following The Passage will be Grizzly Country, a film about Vietnam War veteran Doug Peacock studying grizzly bears in Wyoming and Montana. Lastly, Surviving the Outback shows the adventure of a man who takes on the Australian Outback with nothing but a time capsule of antiques from 1932.
