The Wyoming Watercolor Society will host the Watercolor Wyoming 31st annual National Exhibition August 1 through the 31 on the mezzanine of the Sheridan Fulmer Library. Artists are juried into each year’s show and compete for prize money, national recognition, and a chance to gain signing membership status. Library Program Coordinator Christina Schmidt says the exhibition will feature artists from all overthe country.

Schmidt said there will be a public reception for the artists on the mezzanine on Tuesday, August 16 from 5 to 7 pm.

Also on display throughout August at the library will be a display of photographs and paintings by local artist Michele Schluter. Schmidt said her work will be in the Inner Circle.

In addition to Schluter’s original work, a traveling exhibit from the Wyoming State Museum titled “Barn Here”, will be on display.
