While Celebrate the Arts will be highlighted this weekend, the Sheridan Artists Guild Et. Al, or SAGE, will be highlighting various art shows and classes throughout the summer. Coming up in July, says SAGE Director Karen Meyers.

It's conceivable for a student to attend all four classes every day for that week, since one follows the other; there is, however, a fee for each class.

In August, Meyers says.

Also coming up in August, the Big West Arts Festival, which we will preview closer to the event. To learn more about all SAGE has to offer, click here:

And an FYI -- Sheridan painter Carol Berry's work was chosen for the 2010 Celebrate the Arts poster. They sell for $25, and are available at the participating businesses. Raffle tickets for Berry's original piece will be sold throughout the summer, and the picture will be on display at Davis Gallery. The winning raffle ticket will be drawn in September during the final 3rd Thursday Street Festival.

Artists will be working at the following businesses:

Sheridan Eyecare, Something to Kiln, The WYO Theatre, Crazy Woman Trading Company, Over the Moon, Sheridan Stationery, CB Music, Groshart Eye Clinic, Sheridan College Main St. Campus, Wyoming Culinary Institute, All State Insurance, Kilpatrick Creations, Best Out West, Davis Gallery, PO News / Flagstaff Cafe, Pat's Hallmark, Little Willow Traders
