ARC and Compass Host March Against Family Violence

On Saturday morning, in honor of National Family Violence Awareness Month, The Sheridan Advocacy and Resource Center and the Compass Center for Families will host a March Against Family Violence. Victim Advocate for the ARC Cassidy Drew, explained that this march is intended to carry the message that Family Violence is NOT acceptable.

All are welcome to attend the march and it is encouraged to wear purple, which is the color that represents Domestic Violence Awareness. Drew explained that there is only a small difference between Domestic Violence and Family Violence.

The march will begin at 9am in the Sheridan County Courthouse parking area, just east of US Bank, and end in Whitney Commons where beverages and snacks will be provided.
