Applications Open for Native American Ucross Fellowships

Applications are now open for the Ucross Fellowship for Native American Visual Artists for spring 2020.

The deadline is Sept. 1 for a residency that will take place between March and early June of next year.

Artists from all disciplines are invited to apply, and the Fellowship will provide up to a one-month residency at Ucross and a stipend of $2,000.

Each recipient will be featured in an exhibition at the Ucross Art Gallery during the year following the residency.

Only one Fellowship winner will be selected for each session, but all applicants will have the option of being considered for a regular Ucross residency. There is no application fee for the Ucross Fellowships for Native American Visual Artists.

Ucross Native American Visual Arts Fellows will be part of a group of 10 residents at a time, which is typically a mix of four writers, four visual artists and two individuals working in the performing arts. Individuals from all stages of their careers are invited to apply.
