Annual 'Zombie Run' Scheduled For August 22nd

This year's annual Zombie Fun Run will be happening on Thursday, August 22nd, but there are some changes that have been made, according to Buffalo Police Chief Jason Carder.

Carder told the Buffalo City Council at their meeting this week that there is a new route for the run this year.
It will start in Crazy Woman Square as usual, but then cross Main Street heading west on Fetterman to Washington Park, then onto the Klondike Trail and back.

The BPD Will help with traffic control as the runners cross streets along the route, but no street closures were requested.

The cost to participate in the run is $22 for adults, $12 for students.
Early registration can be done online at here:

Registrations will also be taken the day of the run from 6 to 7pm, with the run to begin at 7.

The fun run is a fundraiser for the Bread of Life Food Pantry and the Buffalo High School cross country team.

Runners will begin the race with a number of flags and must avoid the “zombies” along the race course that are trying to take their flags from them.
