Annual Trike Rally Hits Buffalo This Weekend

The Annual American Trike Association's Trike Rally is in Buffalo again this year, and events will be happening all weekend.

Current President Tom Parish and former President Karen Hendricks are in town for the rally, and they took the time to fill in some blanks regarding the organization and the rally. Parish said the ATA is a nation-wide organization with members all over the US and from Canada, and Buffalo is a centralized location easy for most to get to. That is why they have their annual rally here every year, the week before the big Sturgis rally, Parish said.

Parish and Hendricks tell us more about the rally.
Some of the events that will be happening this week are a poker run from Buffalo to Ucross to Sheridan and Story and back to Buffalo; an ice cream social; and the trikers will be in this Saturday's Johnson County Fair and Rodeo Parade.

Parish and Hendricks said that although there are still a number of trikes and trikers in town for the rally, they have noticed a significant drop in this year's numbers.
