The annual auction/fundraiser for the Johnson County Library will be this Friday at the library.

There will be another fun and interesting theme for this year's event, according to Library Director Cynthia Twing, who tells us more.

Proceeds from the event will go towards current library needs as well as their endowment fund. For every dollar the library puts into the endowment, the State of Wyoming puts in two dollars.

Some items available at the auction will be a leather-bound Craig Johnson package full of “Longmire” items, a Native-American styled drum, a basket full of local yarn from Mountain Meadow Wool, and some interesting new local leather goods manufactured in the 1960's. As they say-something for everyone.

Tickets for the event are $15 each and are available at the library.
Brannian Auctions will handle the auction and Sagewood Cafe will cater the event.

Doors open Friday at 6pm with the reception and silent auction, and the oral auction will begin at 7:30.
