Another candidate has entered the race for a seat on the Sheridan County Commission. Sheridan Media’s Ron Richter has the details.

At least two out of the three seats available in this year’s election on the Sheridan County Commission will be held by new people, as incumbents Steve Maier and Bob Rolston have elected to not seek additional terms. Incumbent Terry Cram will run for another term. The fact that two longtime Commissioners won’t be seeking reelection, has no doubt added to the number of candidates that will be on the ballot in the August Primary. The latest to announce their candidacy is Republican Allan Kinnison.

Kinnison said that his quality of being a “people person” would be beneficial to the Commission.

The filing period for the Primary Election in August will begin Thursday and run through June 1.
