Airport Professional Services Agreement Approved by County

A professional services consulting agreement between the Sheridan County Airport and Forecast, Inc, was approved Wednesday by the Sheridan County Commissioners.

The agreement is for the “Revenue Management and Fare Pricing” aspect of the air service with Denver Air Connection. One aspect of the Minimum Revenue Guarantee agreement between the Critical Air Service Team and Denver Air Connection is that CAST and the community will be the entity charged with setting the pricing and fare structure for the air service. The agreement with Forecast, Inc, is for a one year term in the amount of $60,000 with an option to renew for an additional year. Airport Manager John Stopka also provided an update on air service.

Stopka said that as far as reliability, Denver Air Connection is at 99.5 percent in completed flights and are just over 95 percent for on-time flights.
