Last week, the Sheridan County Commissioners approved a Memorandum of Understanding between Sheridan County and the Wyoming Department of Transportation for participation in the Commercial Air Service Improvement Plan.

The Sheridan City Council, at Monday night’s study session, were told by City Attorney Brendon Kerns that the City and County are currently in negotiations on an agreement between the two entities.

Kerns said that they were made aware of some deadline issues late last week regarding the agreement between the two sides. He said that an agreement needs to be ready for the Council’s consideration at their next regularly scheduled meeting Monday night.

Also from Monday’s study session, the Council were presented with a proposal to rename North Park to Malcolm Wallop Park, and were presented with a draft of the 2019 Capital Improvement Program. We’ll have more from the study session for you in future stories.
