At approximately 2 o'clock Saturday afternoon, Rocky Mountain Ambulance along with the Wyoming Highway Patrol, Sheridan County Sheriff's Office, Goose Valley Fire Department and Sheridan Fire-Rescue responded to an accident on Interstate 90 just behind the Kmart in Sheridan. According to the Highway Patrol, a white four-door passenger vehicle heading northbound rear ended a fuel tanker, resulting in the passenger car catching on fire.

The female driver, and lone occupant of the vehicle, did not sustain any serious life threatening injuries as a result of the accident. The cause of the crash remains under investigation by the Highway Patrol.
