SALT LAKE CITY (AP) - A magnitude 4.9 earthquake has rattled parts of Utah, Wyoming and Idaho. There were no immediate reports of damage or injuries Thursday evening.

University of Utah officials say the quake hit just before 6 p.m. The epicenter was about five miles east-northeast of Randolph in Rich County.

Randolph is about 73 miles northeast of Salt Lake City. People in the state capital also reported feeling the temblor, along with some reports of shaking in Idaho and Wyoming. A dispatcher with the Rich County sheriff's office says the temblor was strong enough to shake pictures on the wall.
