2nd Annual "Brewing Up History" Another Success

As part of the exhibit honoring the history of the Sheridan Brewery, the Sheridan County Museum last year held a beer tasting event. This year, it was even bigger and better, despite ominous thunder clouds and wind. Museum director, Dana Prater spoke with Sheridan Media's Mary Jo Johnson.

Attendees were given special "Brewing Up History" glasses and headed to tables where 20 different beers, including some gluten-free and non-alcoholic, were poured. For the tea-totalers, a variety of unique sodas were available.

The organizer behind the festivities was Museum Curator, Nathan Doerr, who was excited to have the addition of "Squeek" Steel from Virginia City, Nevada to play ragtime piano.

Check back Monday when Mary Jo brings you more from the 2nd Annual "Brewing Up History" benefiting the Sheridan County Museum.
