1st Annual Freedom Fest Monday

Before the fireworks at the Equestrian center this 4th of July holiday, the Sheridan Recreation District will offer a chance for some fun that will include mud volleyball, a wiffle ball home run derby and even a mini corn dog eating contest at the first annual Freedom Fest.

Sheridan Recreation District Specialist Dale Boedecker says that the Rec District would like to make Freedom fest a yearly event.

Freedom Fest will be held from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Monday at the old Woodland Park School. Free food and drink will be served.
