10th Annual Disability Awareness Walk

You just couldn't beat the weather on Saturday. Sheridan Media's Judy Hagerott found the track at the Junior High filled with walkers and brings us this story.

They say an hour of walking is good for your health, but an hour of walking with the disabled, now that's good for your soul. Saturday was the 10th annual Disability Awareness Walk held at Sheridan's Junior High track.

The spring-like weather was a plus as over one hundred walkers showed up for the event. Jeff Foster helped coordinate.

Ronnie Roberts was there walking.

Linda Sayer also participated.

Jeff Mock was there. His knee was acting up so he was wheeling around the track in his wheelchair. He says we all have limitations, but so what.
