The number 23 represents Sheridan's 23rd State Football Championship. This achievement is perhaps among the reasons why Julian was named Fall Sports Coach of the Year for football by the Wyoming Coaches Association.

Just seconds into the first game of the season Bronc Hunter Reece sets the tone for the evening by driving through and around the Wolves as the Broncs head toward the basket. The Broncs scored first and never let up as they demolished Green River 88 to 51 in front of a near capacity crowd Friday night at home.

Post Season Sheridan High School Football Honors

After the Sheridan Broncs went 11-1 and won the 4A State Football title the post season honors keep rolling in. The players shown here have been named to the All-State and All-Conference list with three also being named as Players of the Year. In addition to these ten, Kevin Bakkehaug, Casey Carlton and Hayden Legerski were also named to the All-Conference list.

Signs of the Times

The faithful and reliable signage at Perkins Restaurant and those in the vehicle windows of cars in the Sheridan High School parking lot on Monday morning say it all, "State Champs!" Some of the vehicle signs show the ravages of driving 300+ miles back from Laramie, many via Cheyenne, in extremely high wind and blowing snow conditions.

Hats Off to those who Drive Champions

Our hats go off to the outstanding crew of Sheridan County School District No. 2 drivers who braved the elements and safely transported the Championship Football team, band and pep supporters to and from Laramie. Six buses made the roundtrip that included a detour through Cheyenne - a departure from the normal route through Medicine Bow on the way home.
