"Pink Bronc Day" Raises Record Cancer Funds

Students from Sheridan High School present the Sheridan Memorial Hospital board of trustees with their earnings from their "Pink Bronc Day" T-shirt sales. The students sold a record 700 shirts this year, netting a record $3846.50 for their annual breast cancer fundraiser. The students collected an additional $300 in cash donations for the hospital. Sheridanites Bid a Stylish Farewell to the Inn

The residents at Emeritus at Sugarland Ridge often enjoy going out to lunch on Fridays to one of the local restaurants. On Friday, September 28th, they decided to bid farewell to the Historic Sheridan Inn and loaded up the bus and went to 1893 Grille and Spirits.

Rams all over the Bulldogs (updated)

The Big Horn Rams allowed the Wheatland Bulldogs to get on the board first with 4:04 to go in the 1st quarter but then got a hand on the extra point kick attempt of Weatland's Jordan Castellanos. That diverted kick seemed to set the tone for the game as the Homecoming Big Horn Rams came on strong and never let up as they cruised to a 56 to 24 win over the Bulldogs.

Yes Indeed - Go Rams!

At 9:15 Friday morning the last float in the Big Horn Homecoming Parade says it all, "GO RAMS." Most of the Ram football players, except the holders of the banner, are on their last rest break aboard the homecoming float as the coaches and managers stand at the end of the trailer. It won't be long now until the #2 ranked Rams meet the Wheatland Bulldogs on the gridiron.

Swinging for a Title & Now Taylor has it!

A year and a half ago a Freshman Taylor Nance, seen here, was playing in the Big Horn/Tongue River Golf Invite and now Taylor is the Wyoming 2A State Champion - what a difference a year makes. Saturday the Big Horn Junior won the Class 2A State Golf Title in Lovell. On Friday she shot a first day 95 and followed that up with a 98 on Saturday to finish a stroke ahead of Sundance's Kacie O'Connor.

Rams Rebound in the 2nd Half to down the Herders

Down 8 to 0 with 1:28 to go in the 1st Quarter Big Horn Ram Senior Patrick McClurg kicks a 32-yard field goal out of the hold of Will O'Dell to get the Rams on the scoreboard. With 18-seconds to go in the half McCafferty hit Wollenman for a TD. The Glenrock Herders were up 20 to 9 at the half, but . . .

Big Horn Lady Rams Cruise 3 to 0 over Moorcroft

On Thursday evening the Big Horn Lady Rams made it look easy as they downed the Moorcroft Lady Wolves in three sets: 25-5, 25-9, & 25-12. Here you see Lady Ram Senior Gracie Goldhammer going up to "hammer" the ball between defenders #15 Kimberly VerBurg and #8 Kristen Noyes to put her team up 11 to 3 in game two.

The #5 Ranked Rams down Burns 44 - 22

Following a great run by Ram Scott Passini Big Horn's Quarterback Connor McCafferty keeps the ball runs left and dives into the end zone with Bronc Austin Burkett on his heals for the first score with 3:17 to go in the 1st quarter against the Burns Broncs Friday afternoon at Big Horn.
