Boys 4A East Regional Basketball Championships

In the 2nd game of the 4A East Regional Basketball Championships on Thursday the Sheridan Broncs came out strong and never looked back as they extended a half-time score of 34-14 to a 63-29 final. Sheridan Ice Figure Skaters Jessica Ross, Jessie Pattison, Catherine Winnop, Elizabeth Winnop, Kairstyn Holden and Katelyn Kayser wrap up their season by taking to the ice one more time for the 2nd Annual Ice Show. Their Coach Emily Emond says the free Ice Show is an opportunity for the girls to showcase their talents in front of a home crowd.

Sheridan takes 4-firsts in Indoor Track

Sheridan "Tracksters" took first place in 4-events at the 2011 Sheridan Indoor Track Invite held @ Gillette February 26, 2011. Hunter Vineyard in the High Jump @ 1.57m (5-02.00), Mikala Will in the Long Jump @ 15-07.25, McKenzie Butcher in the Shot Put @ 35-04.25 and Dylan Morin in the 800 Meter Run @ 2:02.09.

Broncs win big over Cheyenne Central on Senior night

The Sheridan Broncs notched their 15th win on Senior Night, Friday by drubbing the Cheyenne Central Indians 64 to 39. The seniors recognized Friday night are: Dexter Currington, Daniel Zemski, Alex Welch, Raith Durham, Isaac Carrel and Kurt Price. On Saturday the Broncs will play Cheyenne East at home in the final regular season game at 11:45 a.m.

Sheridan Athletes Go to Simplot Track Meet

This last week starting on Thursday Feb. 17 and going through Saturday Feb. 19 Sheridan High School indoor track and field athletes traveled to Pocatello Idaho to compete in one of the largest national high school track meets. This year was a great year with over 20 Sheridan athletes making it to Simplot.

The 4th ranked Sheridan Hawks took on the 1st place Pinedale Glaciers at Sheridan Ice Sunday morning.

The Sheridan Broncs Fall to Laramie

On Saturday as the clock clicked down to zero Sheridan Bronc Isaac Carrel, needing a 3-pointer, launched a long ball that was close but no good. As a result the unranked Laramie Plainsmen upset the 3rd ranked Broncs on Sheridan's home court by a final of 43 to 46. Next up for the Broncs is a road trip to Gillette on February 18th to take on the #1 Ranked Camels.

In Hoops - The #5 Ranked Lady Eagles beat the #3 Ranked Lady Rams

The Tongue River fans were out in number complete with props as the number 5 ranked Lady Eagles from Tongue River beat their cross-district rivals, the number 3 ranked Lady Rams from Big Horn Friday evening in Dayton.
