Lady Broncs over the Lady Indians 57 - 39

Steph Sessions, Noelle Golinvaux and Hailey Ligocki pumped in 46 points as the Lady Broncs beat the visiting Lady Indians from Cheyenne Central Friday night by a final of 57 to 39. On the left Sessions puts in 3 of her 15 while Golinvaux, who had 11, goes for a rebound surrounded by the entire Central team. On the right Ligocki puts up a two to lead all scorers with 20 points on the evening.

Broncs Stampede the Bison

Friday night in the Sheridan High School gym it was all Broncs as they stampeded the Cheyenne South Bison 77 to 34. #32 Riley Ryan made good on this early jam that was mirrored later by #15 Jonah Lehmann. In the center at halftime the Bronc Mascot got into the action with a hoof over the eyes free throw.

The State Golf Banner has a Home (updated)

During halftime of Friday's basketball game the "Wyoming State 4A 2011 Boys Golf Champions" banner was presented to the Sheridan High School Boys Golf Team. Golf may be over for the season but most of the multi-talented team members have moved on to basketball and are shown holding the banner in their basketball uniforms.

If you're missing golf and want to rub elbows with some great golfers come and celebrate Sheridan's 2011 State Golf Championship at halftime of the basketball game Friday night. Sheridan's All-State Golfers for 2011 Chris Cremer and Kamrin Allen, shown here, will join their teammates as the team is presented with the State Championship Banner.

Results of the final round of the 31st Anniversary of the Montana PRCA Pro Rodeo Circuit Finals from the Four Seasons Arena in Great Falls, Montana on January 15, 2012 show Big Horn native Miles Kobold in the #1 position in Year End heading with $12,783.05 just beating out Delon Parker who finished in the #2 spot with $12,722.39.

#1 Natrona nips #2 Sheridan 52- 46

Lady Broncs Stephany Sessions, Rickie Ryan, Maddy McClure, Hailey Ligocki and Noelle Golinvaux put 15, 8, 2, 7 & 14 respectively into the score book but it wasn't quite enough as their team fell to the number one ranked Natrona County Fillies 46 to 52 Saturday afternoon at home.

Eagles Come from behind to beat the Rams 70 - 59

Friday night in Dayton, Tongue River's #11 Stephen Yellowtail led the way with 30 points while #21 Tanner Dockery and #15 Matt Yellowtail followed with 16 and 10 respectively for 56 of the Eagles 70 points as they downed their cross-district rivals the Big Horn Rams. The Rams led by 4, 11 and 5 at the end of quarters 1, 2 and 3 but fell behind in the 4th.

Lady Eagles Soar Over the Lady Rams

The Tongue River Lady Eagles soared over the cross-district rivals the Big Horn Lady Rams 67 to 42 in Dayton Friday evening. The two Sarah's - Sarah Rawlings and Sarah Nielsen set the tone for the evening by adding their jersey numbers of 10 and 20 respectively to come up with 30 points between them - 13 for Nielsen and 17 for Rawlings.

Sheridan Beats Billings Broncs in a Thriller Finish

Down one-point and with time running out Sheridan's Taylor Kraft rises for a two in front of the Sheridan student section and over the head of Billing's Trevin McNeil. The basket was oh so good and the students reacted to the last second basket for the win. Sheridan Broncs 57 and Billings Senior Broncs 56 was the final score.
