#1 Lady Broncs - Still Perfect on the Season

Sheridan's Lauren Alden shoots past Riverton's Savannah Salisbury for Sheridan's final two points Saturday in their 58 to 21 drubbing of the Riverton Lady Wolverines. The #1 ranked Lady Broncs remain perfect on the season as they head to the Green River Tournament on December 13th before taking on Buffalo to close out the year on December 20th.

"Best Seat in the House" it could be yours

Sorry girls the "Best Seat in the House" is where the winning occupant(s) get to sit while they "watch you," the Lady Broncs, and the Broncs. As I understand it the "Best Seat in the House" for each game goes to the winning ticket drawn from a pool of purchased tickets.

Reed Ritterbusch Explodes for 30 to start the season

Bronc Reed Ritterbusch exploded on the opening night of the 2012-13 basketball season with 30 points that included this emotion filled shot for two when he was surrounded by Wolves in the 3rd Period to give his team a 45 to 21 lead. The Broncs would go on to beat the Green River Wolves by a final score of 77 to 47.

Lady Broncs Open Hoop Season with a Win

Lady Bronc Hailey Ligocki rises above Lady Wolves Tessa Williams and Melody Ferrell for two of her eleven points on the evening as Sheridan downed Green River 65 to 36 to open the 2012-13 basketball season at home. All twelve Lady Bronc varsity players saw action with ten scoring.

Lady General Milomilo Nanai ties the game at 42

On Saturday evening this shot by Sheridan's Lady General freshman Milomilo Nanai over North Idaho Lady Cardinal Danika Johnson was good to tie the score at 42. Sheridan was down 39 - 30 at the half and mounted a 12 to 3 run for the 42 - 42 tie five minutes into the 2nd half.

County All-State Football Selections

The 2012 All-State Football Selections by the Wyoming Coaches Association have been announced and Sheridan County has 10-players on the list. From Sheridan High School are: Mitch Goodwin, Cody Delk, Nate Kane and Collin Eisenman - From Normative Services: Kevin Keim - From Big Horn High School: Will O'Dell, Lucas Wollenman, Scott Passini, Connor McCafferty and Matthew Wigglesworth.

Sheridanites Hit The Polls

SD#2 Receives Cash Donation

Sheridan Media partnered with the Sheridan-Johnson Community Foundation to contribute $3,000 toward the Sheridan High School Community Donations and Hardship Funds. The funds are used to fill in financial gaps for students who need assistance paying for school lunches, technical certification, testing, and sports-related expenses, including equipment.

A Close Heartbreaker (Updated)

With the ball and down by one in the waning minutes this throw by the Big Horn Rams ended up in the hands of the Lovell Bulldogs and two kneel downs later the season was all over for the Rams. The final score was 29-28 to send the Lovell Bulldogs into the 2A championship game next Saturday at 10:00 am in Laramie against the Lyman Eagles.
