Southeastern Montana Fire Complex In Mop-Up Stages

The southeastern Montana complex of fires is expected to be contained at any time. The last report released from the Incident Management Team was released at 8 o'clock last night, and indicated the fire was 95 percent contained. The fires have burned almost a quarter of a million acres of BLM, county, and private land. We'll have more about recovery efforts as information becomes available.

Fundraising for Wyoming's "Make a Wish Foundation"

After a practice round of golf on a beautiful day and a wonderful BBQ Buffet it was time for entertainment from the left and later "Make A Wish Foundation" auction items from the right as the crowd was ready to enjoy both. First it was the 7th Calvary Drum & Bugle Corps that set the tone with a series of their favorite uplifting notes and beats.

Cowboy up! Time to rodeo!

The cowboy on the Mint Bar and the clock seen through the trees on the corner say it is, "Time to rodeo." The week long Rodeo Week - July 6-15 - starts off on Friday with the Chris LeDoux Spurs & Spikes Memorial Golf Tournament @ the Powder Horn with a practice round, auction and buffet.

Mud Volleyball Makes a Splash at Freedomfest

The Sheridan Concert Band

Sheridan's Bill Avery conducted the Sheridan Concert Band - the 2nd Concert in the Park of 2012 - on a beautiful Tuesday evening as this "High Dynamic Range" photo indicates. The next Concert in the Park, on July 10th, is the Smokehouse Band from Minnesota that concert organizer David Kuzara says is "Awesome" and so far this season he is two for two when it comes to quality concerts.
