Reverend Allan Duane Maxted, 93, of Sheridan passed away on Tuesday, December 1, 2015. He was born on October 9, 1922, in Wellington, Kansas to Benjamin William and Lera Bainum-Maxted. He was born the second of six sons. He was raised on a dairy farm near Anson, Kansas and graduated from Wellington High School. While at Anson he enlisted in the US Army in 1942, for service in World War II.

Nancy Jo Alexander Porter, 83, of Decker, passed to her reward on Tuesday, December 1, 2015, at the Westview Health Care Center. She was born in Kokomo, Indiana, February 12, 1932, to Farold and Josephine Stanton Alexander.

Elizabeth “Betty” A. Church, 103, of Sheridan, passed away on Sunday, November 29, 2015, at the Green House Living of Sheridan.

Ellen Ione Foley, 63, of Ranchester, passed away on Saturday, November 28, 2015, at the Westview Healthcare Center.

Raymond D. Kohn, 80, of Worland, passed away on Sunday, November 29, 2015, at the Sheridan Manor.

Glenn E. Reeves, 85, of Sheridan, died peacefully at home, surrounded by his family from complications of cancer, on Thursday, November 26, 2015.

Glenn was born on June 15, 1930, to Gerald and Irma (Hanson) Reeves in Douglas, WY. He graduated from Douglas High School. He was united in marriage to Lula Grace Foster on July 4, 1959 in Sheridan, WY.

Theodore “Ted” Hammer, 82, passed away at the Veterans Mountain View Nursing Home in Sheridan, Wyoming, on November 18, 2015 after a short illness. He had been a resident of Sheridan for 25 plus years. There will be a memorial service in Sheridan on May 27, 2016. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to the American Cancer Society.
