A member of the Sheridan City Council has recently been appointed by Governor Matt Mead to serve on a executive council that will focus on economic diversification. Sheridan Media’s Ron Richter has the details.

Sheridan College for the fourth straight year has been named a Tree Campus USA by the Arbor Day Foundation and Toyota.

SPRING FLOOD OUTLOOK

CHEYENNE, Wyo. (AP) — Fremont County residents and disaster response officials are making preparations for spring flooding.

Information on the two newest invasive grasses in Sheridan County, Medusahead and ventenata, was presented at this month's meeting of the county's ag and natural resources committee.

The Johnson County One-Percent Committee gave their recommendations for funding of various entities to both the county commissioners and Buffalo City Council during this week's meetings, suggesting the city allocate nearly all of the $500,000 the council earmarked for that purpose.
