College Hosts Art Event for Area Students

Sheridan College hosted a day-long art event for area high school students at the college's art department in Sheridan Wednesday.

Sheridan College to Oberve Moment of Silence

The Northern Wyoming Community College District, which includes the campuses in Sheridan, Gillette and Johnson County, will observe a moment of silence at noon Thursday to honor the victims of the shooting at a community college in Oregon last week.

Forest Service Schedules Maintenance on South Piney Trail

Trail maintenance on the South Piney Trail in the Tongue Ranger District of the Bighorn National Forest will occur next Monday through Wednesday. According to a forest service news release, the trail will not be closed, however, users will be directed to use a detour around the work area.
