SC Basketball tonight home against Little Big Horn CC

GENERALS / LADY GENERALS HOOPS - The Sheridan college basketball teams will host little big horn community college at the Hoffman dome tonight. The women will tip at 5:30 the men at 7:30.

The Lady Generals enter the game 12-7 overall the Generals are 16-3.

Generals coach Steve Smiley says they are coming off another close victory and hopefully that's toughening up his team.

Over the last several years since Little Big Horn joined region nine the Lady Generals have never lost to them.

Weekend Local Sports Wrap up

BRONC / LADY BRONC BASKETBALL - The Sheridan high school basketball teams finished up play Saturday at the Wast / West shoot out in Riverton with victories over Evanston.

The Lady Broncs went 3-0 on the weekend, Head coach Jessica Pickett says they finished strong Saturday.

They finish non-conference play this week at Billings Skyview Friday and at home with Natrona county Saturday.

Broncs / Lady Broncs sweep wins at Riverton / Play KW this afternoon

BRONC / LADY BRONC BASKETBALL - The Sheridan high school basketball teams swept victories in Riverton last night the Lady Broncs beat Riverton 46-31 Head coach Jessica Pickett says they showed some rust but got the job done.

The Broncs beat the Wolverines 54-51 both teams will play Kelly Walsh this afternoon at 1:30 and 3:00 both games will be live on 14-10 KWYO and 87.7 FM ESPN radio.

Tomorrow they play at 3:00 and 4:00 also live on KWYO and 87.7 FM.

Johnson County HS Athletes Back In Action This Week

After a long Christmas break, Kaycee and Buffalo High School athletes are back in action this week.

The Bison boys' basketball team will be in Glenrock on Saturday to take on the Herders. Tipoff is at 4pm.

Sheridan college splits road games / UW Hoops drops games with New Mexico

SC BASKETBALL - The Sheridan college basketball teams split games in Glendive, Montana last night the Lady Generals lost 60-45 the Generals beat the Bucs 93-73.

They play at home Saturday against Northwest Wyoming those games will be at 3:00 and 5:00.

UW BASKETBALL - The Wyoming Cowboys lost at home against New Mexico last night 72-69 in overtime, the Cowgirls lost at New Mexico 75-65.

Professional rodeo’s most prominent cowboys say they are defecting from the Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association to form their own organization, but they are coy about their views on the future of the National Finals Rodeo or any other major rodeo event in Las Vegas.

The biggest names in rodeo led by 11-time world all-around champion Trevor Brazile — the LeBron James of the rodeo world — signed a statement posted on Facebook this week saying it’s time for the sport’s top contestants to be directly involved in the sport’s future.
