TR Championship Saturday Preview / Pokes at UNLV Saturday / Broncos at Saints Sunday

HIGH SCHOOL FOOTBALL CHAMPIONSHIP SATURDAY - The Tongue River Eagles are preparing for another shot at the 1-A football title the Eagles were the runner ups last fall losing to Upton / Sundance in the finals Saturday they play Pine Bluffs in the second game of our championship triple header at 1:00.

We hear from Eagles Head coach John Scott today first we talk about enjoying the week leading up to kick off on championship Saturday.

Broncs / Rams / Eagles Play for State Football Titles Saturday / Pokes Win Again / Broncos fall at Raiders

The Big Horn Rams, Tongue River Eagles and Sheridan Broncs will all play for their state football championships in Laramie Saturday for the Broncs and Eagles it will be back to back title game appearances for the Rams they are back in the title game after missing out last fall.

BRONC FOOTBALL - The Broncs beat Rock Springs Friday and will play Natrona county for the 4-A state football title Saturday in Laramie, Broncs Head coach Don Julian says the defense set the tone for the game early.

November 4th

Broncs Heading to the Big Show with a 35-6 Win/ Tongue River Cruises Past Shoshoni 37-6/Big Horn Advances After Beating Newcastle 27-7

The #2 Ranked 4A Sheridan Bronc Football team is heading to the championship after beating Rock Springs 35-6. They will play the winner of the Gillette/Natrona game next Saturday at UW's War Memorial Stadium for the state title.

Tongue River Eagles Football
Tongue River's #2 1A Eagles football team beat Shoshoni 37-6 to punch their ticket to Championship Saturday. They will play Pine Bluffs in Laramie next Saturday for the title.

EAGLES FOOTBALL - The Tongue River Eagles play at Shoshoni this evening the game will kickoff at 5:00 and can be heard live on 87.7 FM ESPN radio.

Eagles Head coach John Scott says both teams have a lot riding on the is game with his Eagles trying for their second straight trip to the championship game.

Playoff Football Preview / Lady Generals win Region Nine Volleyball Opener / Lady Bronc Volleyball Opens State Tournament Play Today / Cowboy Hoops Plays Exhibition Opener Tonight

BRONC FOOTBALL - The Sheridan Broncs host the Rock Springs Tigers tomorrow night in one 4-A semi final game the other has Gillette is playing at home against Natrona county.

The Broncs took the regular season game in Rock Springs 24-16 in a hard fought battle, Sheridan Head coach Don Julian says it should be another great matchup between two teams that have very different styles.

This is a familiar spot for the Broncs and Julian says the players have prepared well and will be ready.

Generals Basketball Open with a Victory / Lady Generals Open Tonight / State Volleyball Opens Thursday for the Lady Broncs

GENERALS BASKETBALL - The Sheridan college Generals basketball team started the new season with a very good victory beating Northeastern Colorado at the Hoffman dome last night 88-62.

They fell behind by ten early in the first half but closed the half on a 23-5 run and led the rest of the way. They get back into action Friday night at the dome against Otero CC that game is scheduled for 7:00.

State Swimming Recap / High School Football Playoffs Continue Friday / Pokes v Aggies Saturday Night / Broncos at Raiders Sunday

SWIMMING - The Lady Bronc swimmers finished 3rd at the 4-A state swimming and diving championships.

Today we put a cap on the season with Head coach Brent Moore, he says they were right in the mix to attain the goal of finishing 2nd and just missed by a handful of points but it was a tremendous performance from all the Lady Broncs.

And with all the state meet points returning the outcome will vault them into a great off season and has all the girls looking ahead to 2017.
